“Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition is specifically being developed and optimised to benefit the system architecture and leap in processing power offered by PS5 and Xbox Series X, so we’re focusing on these platforms. After all, there isn’t any other explanation than that. I guess Capcom is really trying to sell as many DMC5 units as it can. It’s really ironic, especially if you consider that the PC was the first platform that supported real-time ray tracing in video-games. So yeah, while we won’t get the new free stuff that will be present in the Special Edition, we will at least be able to pay for a new DLC. Instead of adding the new game modes and new graphical enhancements to the PC, Capcom will bring the Vergil DLC (which is a paid DLC) to our platform. However, this version of DMC5 will not be coming to the PC. Capcom has officially announced a Special Edition for Devil May Cry 5 that will introduce Ray Tracing effects.
